Back to 180.

Sigh. Why?

How often do CRONers weigh themselves? Once a week? On a specific day?

Your weight will fluctuate by as much as 10 or so pounds depending on how much sodium and carbohydrates are in your system, how much food is in your stomach, how much you've exercised (causing your muscles to retain water), and the time of the month.

Thus, you should weigh yourself first thing in the morning to get the most consistent number. And while you may choose to weigh yourself every day, be aware that the number will probably bounce around a LOT. Even weighing every week doesn't get rid of that - one Friday morning you might be dehydrated, then the next week you might have lost a pound of fat but be retaining 3 pounds of water, making the scale look 2 pounds higher.

So, while I do weigh myself, I try not to worry about the scale number. Fit of clothes (or measurements) is a better indicator, or you could weigh yourself every day and take a 3-5 day rolling average, which should give you a smoother line.
